What We Use

Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a bioplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane, and it's widely regarded as a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and polystyrene (PS).

Eco Acrylic Paints

Any painted products use acrylic paints that are non-toxic, solvent free, pesticide and herbicide free, with no animal products, no ethereal oils and no heavy metals.

Plastic Imports

In 2023, approximately £4 billion worth of toys and games were imported into the UK, with around £3.3 billion coming from non-EU countries.

China: ~£2.6 billion

Czech Republic: ~£308 million

Hungary: ~£192 million

Transport Emissions

Shipping 1 kg of goods from China to the UK via air freight produces approximately 4.75 kg of CO₂. Sea freight is less carbon-intensive but still contributes significantly to emissions.
